Project overview

As Interim Project Director / Multi-Project Manager (m/f/d), you will take overall responsibility for the operational implementation of a 722 MWp photovoltaic portfolio in Poland. You will directly manage multiple utility-scale PV projects on the construction sites and coordinate all relevant project stakeholders from construction execution to successful handover.

An experienced Interim Project Director is sought to support an extensive PV portfolio in Poland, responsible for on-site operational project implementation.

• Overall responsibility for the operational management and successful implementation of multiple utility-scale PV projects in Poland.
• Active project management with regular presence on construction sites.
• Monitoring of construction progress, quality, deadlines, costs, and contractual obligations.
• Coordination of Construction, Procurement, Engineering, Legal, and other specialist departments.
• Management of EPC partners, suppliers, and subcontractors across all project phases.
• Participation in tenders, awards, and contract negotiations with subcontractors.
• Ensuring smooth communication between investors, the project team, and external stakeholders.
• Identification of project risks and initiation of appropriate countermeasures.
• Regular reporting to the Head of Project Execution.
• Responsibility for the successful commissioning, completion, and handover of the projects.
• Several years of experience as Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or Multi-Project Manager in the utility-scale PV sector.
• Proven responsibility for large PV projects with a project volume of at least 300 MWp, ideally more.
• Sound experience in the operational construction execution of solar farms and in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in EPC management as well as in the awarding and management of subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of schedule, cost, quality, and risk management.
• Confident interaction with investors, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Hands-on mentality with strong decision-making and implementation skills.
• Fluent English skills; Polish language skills are an advantage.
• Role as Interim Project Director / Multi-Project Manager for a 722 MWp utility-scale PV portfolio.
• Duration of 12 to 24 months with the option for follow-up projects.
• High degree of personal responsibility and direct influence on project success.
• International project environment with close collaboration between various specialist departments and investors.
• Focus on operational project management with regular presence on construction sites in Poland (approx. 3-4 days per week).
• Attractive project environment in the field of renewable energies and large infrastructure.
