For our client in the energy technology sector, we are currently looking for an experienced Interim Senior Product Manager to support the area of transformers and switchgear.
The focus is on the further development of existing products, the management of technical development initiatives, and the identification of innovation and optimization potential. We are not looking for a classic project manager or PLM consultant, but rather a technical expert with in-depth experience in medium or high-voltage technology who can interact with development engineers and plant teams on an equal footing.

Requirements Profile
Compensation Package
- Support and further development of the product portfolio in the area of transformers and/or switchgear
- Identification of market, innovation, and business potential
- Evaluation of technical requirements, product concepts, and development projects
- Management and support of development and R&D initiatives
- Creation and prioritization of technical requirements
- Coordination with engineering, plants, sales, and other stakeholders
- Analysis of cost optimization and standardization potential
- Support with business cases, feasibility studies, and product strategies
- Support of the product lifecycle from product idea to market launch
- Several years of experience in technical product management, R&D, or product development
- In-depth knowledge in the field of transformers, switchgear, or high-voltage technology
- Experience with medium and high-voltage applications as well as electrical power distribution
- Good understanding of design, components, manufacturing, and technical product requirements
- Experience in collaborating with development and plant teams
- Ideally, knowledge of PLM, Requirements Engineering, or agile development environments
- Understanding of business cases, ROI considerations, and economic product decisions
- Fluent English skills
- Start: Immediately
- Duration: 6 months with an option to extend
- Workload: Part-time or full-time possible
- Location: Hybrid / predominantly remote
- Area: Europe-wide
