For our client in the energy storage and plant engineering sector, we are currently looking for an experienced Interim Senior Project Manager.

We are looking for a project manager who takes responsibility, makes decisions, and drives projects forward, even in an environment where processes and structures are not yet fully established. The focus is on the holistic management of technical projects, including budget, risk, and stakeholder management within a growing organization.

• Holistic management of complex technical projects in the field of energy, plant, and storage technology
• Responsibility for project goals regarding costs, quality, deadlines, and risks
• Active stakeholder management across all project phases
• Management and coordination of interdisciplinary teams from engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and commissioning
• Management of projects in different stages of maturity, from project start to shortly before handover
• Identification and management of project risks as well as initiation of appropriate countermeasures
• Ensuring transparent project communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Support in the development and further development of project management standards and processes
• Taking on operational tasks in the project environment and not exclusively coordinating activities
• Several years of experience in technical project management, ideally in plant construction, mechanical engineering, large-scale plant construction, or the energy sector
• Experience in project organizations with budget, risk, and results responsibility
• Demonstrable successes in managing complex technical projects
• Strong conflict resolution and assertiveness skills, as well as confident stakeholder management
• High degree of independence and the ability to work successfully in dynamic and partially unstructured environments
• Technical and commercial understanding along the entire project lifecycle
• Very good English skills

• On-site component: 4 days per week on-site, 1 day remote
