Our client is in the process of developing its global quality management as part of a transformation project. The background is increasing demands for international standardization of quality processes and documentation obligations within the scope of ISO 9001 certification. The goal is the introduction of a global document management system for quality management, which is to be used by all international subsidiaries in the future.

For this purpose, an experienced, hands-on Senior Project Manager is sought who will accompany both the strategic conception and the operational implementation.

Project Goal

• Responsibility for the planning and control of the introduction of a global QM document management system
• Development of a global target strategy, taking into account the requirements of various international subsidiaries
• Recording, analysis, and harmonization of existing QM and documentation processes
• Coordination with national and international stakeholders from quality management, IT, and specialist departments
• Conducting workshops and interviews for requirements gathering
• Market analysis and evaluation of suitable DMS solutions
• Preparation of tender and decision documents
• Definition of governance, roles, and documentation standards
• Management of external service providers and potential software vendors
• Support of the implementation phase until successful launch
• Several years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in international transformation or digitalization projects
• Demonstrable experience in the quality management environment (ideally ISO 9001)
• Experience in the introduction of document management or quality management systems
• Sound knowledge of process analysis, process design, and governance models
• Experience in preparing and conducting tenders (RFI/RFP)
• Knowledge of classic project management methods; project start is expected in a waterfall environment
• Strong communication and moderation skills
• Confident interaction with international stakeholders at various hierarchical levels
• Strategic thinking combined with a pragmatic hands-on mentality
• Structured and independent way of working
• High assertiveness and implementation strength
• German: fluent
• English: fluent
• Experience in global organizational structures with international subsidiaries
• Knowledge of market-leading document management and QMS solutions
• Experience with SAP-related system landscapes
• Experience in replacing legacy systems and defining long-term target architectures
• Selection and introduction of a global QM document management system as the basis for internationally uniform quality management. In the long term, integration into the SAP landscape is planned; however, this is not part of the initial project focus.
