Project overview
For a long-term IT project in the banking environment, we are looking for an experienced IT Application Manager / Application Support Specialist (m/f/d) to support technical application operations.
The focus is on supporting business-critical IT applications, ensuring stable operation, and analyzing and resolving technical disruptions.
The project is planned long-term until the end of 2027 and offers an option for extension.
Responsibilities
- Technical support and ensuring stable operation of IT applications
- Analysis, processing, and sustainable resolution of incidents and technical disruptions
- Planning, coordination, and implementation of changes and releases
- Monitoring and optimization of application and system availability
- Support with software deployments and technical tests
- Error analysis in Windows and Linux environments
- Collaboration with development, infrastructure, and operations teams
- Creation and maintenance of technical operational documentation
- Processing and tracking of tickets as well as optimization of existing operational processes
Requirements
- Practical experience in IT Application Management, Application Support, or technical application operations
- Knowledge of Incident, Change, and Release Management
- Knowledge of GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
- Basic knowledge of HashiCorp Vault
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of SQL and database systems
- Experience with software deployments and technical tests
- Analytical, structured, and self-reliant way of working
- Good German language skills, written and spoken

Primarily Remote / occasionally Berlin
Onboarding: Approx. 3 days on-site in Berlin
On-site component: Subsequently approx. 2-3 days every 6 weeks
