IT Architect / Solution Architect (m/f/d) with focus on Automation and Process Design

Project overview

Senior network/infrastructure specialist with at least 5 years of experience in secure network and DMZ architectures, BSI basic protection, high-performance networks, and enterprise infrastructures, as well as at least 3 years of experience in IT automation with scripting, NetBox, and Ansible.

Responsibilities

At least 5 years of experience in planning and designing DMZ and security architectures based on BSI basic protection, at least 3 years in the VS-NfD and PersDatSB2 environment.

At least 5 years of experience with network architectures and network transitions, including network protocols, SSL offloading, and high-performance networks from 100 Gbit/s.

At least 5 years of experience in reading, understanding, and creating network topologies and network methodologies.

Experience in the design and automation of IT processes and IT environments, particularly with Ansible, NetBox, and scripting.

Experience in creating and updating technical and platform-specific concepts as well as documentation.

Experience in planning and managing work packages, milestones, and technical implementation measures.

Experience in automating IT processes and IT systems or IT environments using scripting and software or tools (Netbox, Ansible).

Experience in handling network and security components, preferably from Cisco, or with at least three of the following product families. The experience should particularly include basic configuration, commissioning and decommissioning, as well as modification and optimization of existing configurations:

Cisco network components and routers

Cisco E-mail Security solutions

Citrix ADC/Application Delivery solutions

Check Point Firewall and Security solutions

Skyhigh Web Security solutions

Fortinet Web and Security Appliances

SFTP/Managed File Transfer solutions, e.g., CrushFTP

For all requirements, proof of performance is provided by a service provider. A CV or valid certificates/references are generally accepted as proof. For item 1, there is also a specific requirement for corresponding qualification proof since 2017.

Willingness for security clearance.

Certificates:

ITIL Foundation v4 certification.

Project management certification at least IPMA Level D or comparable (e.g., CAPM/PMI or PRINCE2 Practitioner).

Languages:

Very good German skills (C1) in speaking and writing, as well as English skills (B1) for understanding technical terms and documentation.
