• Minimum 5 years of experience in network environments, e.g., management tools, network planning, and firewall rule sets
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Dell EMC Storage (DataDomain), IBM Storage (FlashSystem, Spectrum Virtualize, TS4500), and in the design of SAN infrastructures (Cisco MDS, Brocade)
• Experience in large enterprise IT environments with >200 storage systems, >300 SAN switches, and >30 SVC clusters, including high availability and cluster approaches as well as Smart-Scale solutions
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Cohesity / IBM Storage Defender Data Protect in enterprise IT environments
• Minimum 5 years of experience with RHEL, SLES, Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft Cluster
• Minimum 3 years of experience in creating private cloud storage/backup concepts, especially cloud tiering, object storage, and hybrid DR architectures
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Policy Based High Availability (PBHA), Policy Based Replication (PBR), and NVMe over TCP
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the conception and implementation of automation solutions for storage and backup processes based on the Ansible Automation Platform
• Minimum 5 years of experience with REST API interfaces
• Minimum 3 years of experience with agile methods based on Jira and documentation in Atlassian Confluence
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Maximo (Change Management), ARIS, Alfabet (Portfolio Management), and compliance issue management tools

Project details

The project's focus is on the service architecture for storage and backup. The goal is, in particular, the conception and documentation of storage and backup solutions, taking into account existing reference architectures and specifications.

Service Description:

• Conception and further development of storage and backup architectures
• Creation and maintenance of service descriptions, deployment, implementation, and information security concepts
• Identification and implementation of automation potentials in the storage and backup environment
• Introduction of new and further development of existing storage and backup solutions in regular operation
• Analysis and optimization of existing storage and backup processes and workflows
• Evaluation of new technologies and products, including test planning, execution, and documentation
• Maintenance of technical documentation and modeling of changes in ARIS and Alfabet
