The scope of services includes the following focal points:

Skills

• Requirements Analysis and Definition: Recording, analyzing, and describing AS-IS/TO-BE states of the involved business units (conception); moderating and evaluating requirements workshops using creative methods; collecting, consolidating, analyzing, and specifying functional/non-functional requirements using common methods (e.g., User Story); analyzing and evaluating IT architectures and technical concepts as a basis for selecting a solution provider; analyzing problem areas.
• Conception/Development of Action Options: Creating a detailed concept for individual information systems; developing action options including strategic assessment and recommendation.
• Documentation: Documenting AS-IS/TO-BE states of the involved business units; documenting functional/non-functional requirements; documenting (technical/business) risks including advice on action options for risk elimination or minimization; prioritizing and preparing a requirements catalog as decision proposals for various committees regarding development and operation.
• Creation of Test Cases: Describing test cases.
• Consulting: Consulting on achieving conformity of requirements with the IT target image, IT strategy, and project implementation status; consulting on project implementation and necessary accompanying processes (qualification concepts and change processes).
• Must-have criteria
• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role
• Very good knowledge in the analysis, conception, and design of complex business processes
• Very good and practically proven knowledge in requirements management of complex IT systems
• Experience in independently carrying out complex consulting projects in the context of IT and process projects in the ICT sector
• Sound industry experience in the field of railway transport companies
• Knowledge for analyzing interface specifications of IT systems
• Routine in creating User Stories and acceptance criteria, as well as in supporting the creation of test cases
• Very good German skills, good reading comprehension in English, as well as good communication and problem-solving skills required
• Should-have criteria
• Basic knowledge of timetable, track booking, and construction timetable processes
• Weighting: 25%
• Sound knowledge in the use of standard tools such as MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence for control and documentation
• Experience with JSON, XML, and SQL
• Process and data flow modeling (BPM)
