Project overview

The project aims to replace an existing software solution for traffic control in long-distance transport. In collaboratively scaled DevOps teams, software products are developed and operated as single-page applications within a microservice architecture for cloud operation.

The development follows modern standards using cloud technologies, Docker, CI/CD, complete delivery and test automation, and integrated vulnerability management. Methodologically, agile approaches are used; UX, end-user focus, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD) form the core working principles. The DevOps teams are responsible for the operational management of the products alongside their development.

Skills

• Building and evolutionary further development of the microservice architecture suitable for the business domain using Domain Driven Design principles.
• Promoting and driving the implementation of the technological strategy, architectural-technical knowledge exchange, and innovation and standardization within the project.
• Consulting on the implementation of the technical architecture in software development.
• Implementing technical components in applications based on the technologies used (microservice architectures, Spring, AWS, Messaging, Kotlin), including interfaces, modules, and databases.
• Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines based on GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, and OpenShift (Kubernetes).
• Ensuring application operation is as automated and stable as possible, with continuous improvement of architecture, processes, and tools.
• Programming, implementing, and customizing technical components in compliance with the client's standards and programming guidelines.

• Backend Software Development & Application Architecture: Kotlin development within an Application Design framework (e.g., Ports & Adapter, IODA, etc.).
• Proof by: Years of experience
• Senior (> 5 years experience)
• Software Development & Application Architecture: Frontend programming & architecture knowledge, at least with React.
• Practical experience with agile engineering practices
• Experience with cloud-based and containerized infrastructure in micro-service architectures
• Methodological & Technological knowledge with DevOps
• Should-have criteria (evaluation criteria)
• Proven practical experience with methods and tools of strategic and tactical Domain Driven Design.
