Agile IT project for data management, focusing on the maintenance, development, and integration of applications, specifically a Django-based web application with PostgreSQL and AWS cloud operations.
Project overview
For this project, only applications from employed staff (from system houses, IT service providers, etc.) are accepted. Freelancers unfortunately cannot be introduced to the client. Freelancers are kindly asked to refrain from applying.
The services are to be provided for a unit in the field of data management. The subject is the execution of agile IT projects, essentially the maintenance, (further) development, and integration of applications. Specifically, this includes a web application based on the Django (Python) framework with a PostgreSQL database (consisting of tools for order processing of geodata and project management for engineering surveying). Collaboration takes place according to SCRUM in an agile team network, including cloud operation (AWS).

- Development and maintenance of software applications according to the client's specifications
- Consultation on the technical implementation of business requirements
- Remote participation in project meetings and SCRUM events
- On-site participation in PI Planning sessions in Frankfurt am Main as needed (two days each, approximately every three months)
- Technical coordination with project management, business departments, and development teams
- Writing clean, efficient, and documented code in compliance with common standards and practices
- Creation of delivery packages for the relevant applications

- M1: Experience in development with Python/Django framework
- Experience level in years
- Intermediate (> 3 years of experience)
- M2: Experience in frontend development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Bootstrap, Django templates)
- M3: Experience with REST interfaces and connecting external systems
- M4: Experience with CI/CD
- M5: Experience in interpreting and resolving security findings
- Junior (<= 3 years of experience)

- S1: Experience with PDF/Report generation (WeasyPrint, wkhtmltopdf)
