For our client in the cable network technology sector, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure and Network Technician with a focus on automation.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operation, maintenance, and continuous development of IT, network, and service platforms
- Participation in the introduction, integration, and optimization of GPON, vCMTS, and OSS systems
- Analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex technical issues in 2nd and 3rd level support
- Automation and optimization of existing operational processes using suitable scripting and automation technologies
- Participation in infrastructure projects and the modernization of existing network and IT system landscapes
- Monitoring and ensuring stable and high-performance IT and network infrastructure operation
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Collaboration with internal departments, manufacturers, and external service providers
Requirements

- Completed technical education (HTL) in computer science, electronics, mechatronics, or IT
- Several years of relevant professional experience in network technology, IT infrastructure, or system administration
- Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Basic knowledge of databases, automation technologies, and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS)
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- High willingness to learn and interest in new technologies
- Strong team and communication skills
- Very good German language skills
- Driving license class B
