IT Project Manager / Business Analyst Energy Trading

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager and Business Analyst to manage demanding IT projects in the energy trading sector. The focus is on developing solutions in the areas of Asset Power and renewable energies.

In this role, you will be responsible for comprehensive project management from requirements analysis to implementation. You will analyze and structure business requirements, create detailed specifications, epics, and user stories, and develop solution options together with architecture and product teams. You will plan roadmaps, milestones, and dependencies, and provide transparent progress documentation for governance bodies.

Furthermore, you will coordinate internal and external stakeholders, moderate workshops, and organize resource allocation. Ensuring high quality standards for requirements, decision documents, and status reports is your responsibility.

You have a degree in (Business) Informatics, Natural Sciences, or Engineering. Several years of professional experience in IT project management and business analysis in energy trading are required. You have sound knowledge of agile, classic, or hybrid project management methods such as Scrum, PMI, or PRINCE2, as well as practical experience in the end-to-end delivery of complex projects.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence is assumed. Understanding of the energy market's system and data landscape, as well as experience in coordination between business, IT, and management teams, are essential. Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.

The work location is Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg. The position is filled on-site.
