Project overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to take overall responsibility for a demanding infrastructure project in the area of digital security and certificate management. The location is Berlin, the working method is hybrid.

Your tasks include the complete planning, control, and implementation of a security-critical IT service in compliance with time, budget, quality, and resource goals. You will be responsible for managing project resources, backlogs, and milestones, as well as budget controlling and risk management. Another focus is on active stakeholder and committee management, including the preparation and leadership of steering committees.

You will coordinate technical requirements, develop architecture and solution concepts, and ensure the technical quality and audit security of the project. Furthermore, you will manage contract, change, and claim management and oversee service acceptances in close cooperation with customers and partners. The creation of meaningful project documentation and management reporting for various stakeholders is also part of your responsibilities.

You have a degree in computer science or engineering and several years of experience as an IT Project Manager in agile and hybrid environments (Scrum, Kanban). Specialized knowledge in IT security, particularly in trust center, PKI, or digital identity environments, is required. Sound knowledge of certificate management, public key infrastructures, and revocation mechanisms is assumed. You have practical experience with regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as confident handling of project controlling and risk management. Excellent communication skills and fluent English skills complete your profile.
