Job description
The role involves assessing and evaluating existing IT security structures and solutions, conducting analyses, and supporting the implementation of improvements. The ideal candidate has several years of experience in information and system security and a strong understanding of security requirements.
Responsibilities
Review and evaluation of existing structures and solutions with regard to defined requirements
Conducting analyses and assessments within the scope of internal and external projects
Recording and structured evaluation of potential anomalies and areas for action
Documentation of analysis results and preparation of relevant findings
Support in the development and implementation of suitable improvement measures
Accompanying change and optimization projects in cooperation with various internal and external stakeholders
Coordination of technical issues with involved departments and coordination of relevant information
Participation in the continuous further development of existing structures, processes, and quality standards
Profile:
Several years of professional experience in the field of information and system security
Sound practical experience in a comparable professional role
Experience in the evaluation and security of digital solutions and technical systems
Good knowledge in the area of organizational and technical security requirements
Experience in conducting and accompanying audits as well as in the structured evaluation of existing processes and measures
Familiarity with established procedures, guidelines, and recognized requirements in the field of information security
Analytical and structured way of working as well as the ability to independently work on complex issues
No disciplinary leadership experience required
Very good German and English skills
