Job description
A regional corporate group is seeking an IT Security Specialist to support the setup of SOC operations, involving hands-on coaching and conceptual work.
Responsibilities
- Setup of a 24/7 Managed SOC for internal and external clients
- Establishment of operational processes and interfaces
- Hands-on coaching of security analysts to become SOC analysts (approx. 60% of the role)
- Conceptual work (approx. 40% of the role), e.g., creation of roadmaps, concept development, and review for defense prevention
- Forensic analysis, PoC of security solutions, threat detection, use cases and playbooks, vulnerability analysis, security incident monitoring and assessment
- Conducting workshops and cyber threat analyses, development of heuristics for detecting attack patterns
- Modeling of SOC/CDC processes and integration of vulnerability monitoring & assessment

- Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
- Profound expertise in the described field of activity
- Comprehensive practical experience in IT Security and in setting up an SOC
- Enjoyment of coaching security analysts and knowledge transfer
- Strong analytical skills as well as high problem-solving competence and implementation ability
- Communicative team player with a lot of initiative
- Very good German language skills
