Project:

You will develop and operate a modern document management platform that supports sales and customer processes through automated document creation and management. You will take end-to-end responsibility for Java-based Spring Boot microservices and actively shape the technical further development of the platform. Start from 04.01.2027 at 100% in Zurich for 12 months.

Task:

• Development, further development, and operation of microservices with Java and Spring Boot
• Implementation of the entire development process from conception and design through implementation and testing to deployment
• Development and maintenance of web applications with Angular and TypeScript
• Analysis of business requirements and close collaboration with Business Engineering, business units, and sales
• Design and further development of APIs, interfaces, and integrations
• Ensuring stability, performance, and security in ongoing operations, including monitoring, logging, and incident management
• Participation in architectural decisions, code reviews, refactoring, and automated tests
• Continuous optimization of the platform, for example, through automation, self-services, and API-first approaches

• 5-8+ years of experience in software development and/or DevOps-related roles
• Very good Java and Spring Boot knowledge
• Sound experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and REST APIs
• Experience with XML/JSON, relational databases, and JPA/Hibernate
• Confident handling of Linux and Shell
• Knowledge of Clean Code, Design Patterns, Testing, and Code Reviews
• Basic knowledge of software security
• Analytical, structured, and team-oriented way of working
• Nice-to-have: Kubernetes, Cloud/On-Premises, CI/CD, Monitoring, and Deployment Automation.
