Responsibilities

Deployment & Integration: Support in the technical rollout of security tools (SIEM, Endpoint Protection/EDR).

System Hardening & AD: Participation in the secure configuration and hardening of Active Directory, servers, and network components.

Migration & Maintenance: Contribution to phased, disruption-free migrations in protected/segmented networks.

DevSecOps & Automation: Support in integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines as well as in patch and configuration management.

Documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical system documentation and operating concepts.

Requirements

Solid Foundation: Initial practical experience (1–3 years) in Cyber Security, System Administration, or Network Engineering.

Hands-on Mentality: Good knowledge of Active Directory, Windows/Linux server hardening, and network fundamentals (VLANs, firewalls, routing).

Interest in Security Architectures: Basic understanding of zone models (IT/OT) and standards such as ISO 27001 or IEC 62443 is an advantage.

Work Style: Structured, precise, and self-reliant way of working.

Languages: Very good German and good English skills.

Project Description & Role

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated (Junior) Cyber Security & System Engineer. In close collaboration with our senior consultants, you will support the practical implementation, rollout, and hardening of IT/OT security solutions. This position is ideal for professionals with a solid foundation who want to deepen their hands-on expertise in a highly secure environment.
