Project overview
For a demanding major infrastructure project in the field of tunnel construction, an experienced Senior Calculator (m/f/d) is sought.
The focus is on the independent creation and evaluation of complex construction cost calculations as well as the economic and technical assessment of different tunnel construction methods.
The position requires in-depth expertise in tunnel construction, comprehensive practical experience, and a strong hands-on mentality.
Responsibilities
- Independent creation and processing of complex tender and project calculations in tunnel construction
- Determination and evaluation of construction costs, quantities, performance specifications, and resource requirements
- Kalkulatorische assessment of different tunnel construction methods and construction execution methods
- Creation and processing of calculations with iTWO
- Analysis of performance specifications, tender documents, and technical documentation
- Identification and evaluation of technical and economic project risks
- Close coordination with project management, construction management, and other technical departments
- Consideration of site-specific requirements in the calculation
Requirements
The place of work is the office in Düsseldorf, with construction site visits as needed
- Many years of experience in the calculation of complex tunnel construction projects
- In-depth knowledge of different tunnel construction methods and their specifics
- Very good knowledge of technical terminology in tunnel construction
- Confident and routine handling of iTWO
- Demonstrable project experience in large infrastructure projects
- Strong technical and economic understanding
- Independent, structured, and practice-oriented way of working with a hands-on mentality
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
- Mobility and willingness to visit construction sites
