Responsibilities

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

KEY FACTS

• You will independently design and further develop transport solutions and processing machines for the solid wood industry, especially finger jointing systems.
• You will conduct necessary investigations, calculations, and tests and document the results comprehensibly.
• You will translate technical requirements into economical and innovative design solutions.
• You will support and advise adjacent departments on technical issues.
• You will ensure compliance with relevant norms, guidelines, and technical standards.
• You will actively participate in the optimization of existing machines and systems.
• A fixed-term employment contract for 2 years is initially expected, with a clear prospect of long-term employment.
• You are an engineer or technician (m/f/d) in mechanical engineering, preferably with 3 years of practical experience.
• You have good knowledge and experience in mechanical design and design methodology.
• You can work confidently with 3D CAD systems, ideally with Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
• You have knowledge in the areas of electrical drive technology, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• You are a team player and convince with a structured, independent way of working.
• You have knowledge in the area of FEM simulation.
• You know the requirements of relevant norms and guidelines and can implement them in practice.
• You ideally have experience in the solid wood industry or in machine tool manufacturing.
• You bring technical understanding, initiative, and solution-oriented thinking.
