Coordinator Area Securing

Project overview

We, emagine, are looking for an experienced Coordinator for Area Securing for our partner for a large overhead line project in the transmission network. An existing line system will be replaced by a new construction with higher transmission capacity. After the planning approval decision, several preparatory measures must be implemented at short notice by the end of the upcoming clearing period and beyond. You will be responsible for the technical management of the service provider for area securing; you will not carry out the operational route securing yourself.

Responsibilities

• You will technically manage and coordinate the service providers, including escalation management in case of difficulties with right-of-way acquisition and entry bans
• You will plan, coordinate, and carry out temporary area securing
• You will negotiate with owners and managers or manage the negotiations
• You will provide technical and organizational support to the land law experts and coordinate necessary preparatory work
• You will maintain data in LaRA and Excel and coordinate the import of geodata
• You will communicate with the construction company and project team on a project-related basis and create status reports on area securing and construction site clearance
• You will process compensation and land damage cases and pay out compensation and lump-sum expenses
• You will accompany route inspections and condition assessments and derive measures from them

• Experience in area or route securing, right-of-way acquisition, or property matters
• Confident use of Excel and data systems, knowledge of LaRA is an advantage
• Negotiation skills in dealing with owners and managers
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
