- Role: Kubernetes Platform Engineer
- Period: asap until December 2026 (option to extend)
- Location: mainly remote & on-site as needed nationwide in Germany
- Utilization: Full-time

- Building and detailed documentation of a PaaS solution based on existing service components, including extension of the tool stack and connection to existing Kubernetes environments
- Tool selection, CVE reduction, deployment and provision of tools and platform components
- Realization and ensuring the operation of a Kubernetes-based PaaS/SaaS with a high degree of automation in provisioning and deployment within an agile team
- Automated deployment of containerized platform components via CI/CD and platform optimization using Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and automation tools, including GitLab CI, Terraform, Crossplane, and ArgoCD
- Building multiple PaaS instances in a cloud environment and realizing the Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure
- Performing iterative unit, system, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests
- Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps, including solid experience with software testing, especially unit, system, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience with Kubernetes and solid knowledge of Cloud-Native concepts and architectures, especially API Gateways, Service Mesh (e.g., Istio), and authentication and authorization concepts
- Minimum 3 years of experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps, for example with GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Crossplane, and/or Argo CD
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience with Linux, especially in operating and administering Linux-based systems
- Minimum 2 years of experience in agile software or product development, for example in Scrum or Kanban-based teams
