Project overview

For our client, we are looking for 1 Linux Engineer / Linux Consultant (m/f/d) Remote/Stuttgart.

The focus is on the stable, secure, and standardized operation of enterprise Linux environments.

Project-related self-assessment on a scale of: 1 = 10% - 10 = 100%

Responsibilities

• Administration and further development of RHEL and SLES
• Min. 5 years of experience in enterprise Linux environments
• Installation, configuration, patch and lifecycle management
• Troubleshooting, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
• Automation with Ansible
• Linux Security & Hardening, including SSH, SELinux/AppArmor
• Knowledge of middleware and PostgreSQL/MariaDB
• Creation of technical operational and infrastructure concepts

• Several years of relevant experience in the Linux/Open Source environment
• German at least C1
• Willingness for occasional on-site deployments in the Stuttgart region
• Existing security clearance or willingness to undergo a security check
• Client: Public Sector

• Work Model: predominantly remote / Homeoffice possible
• Remote Share: currently approx. 80% planned
• On-site: as needed, currently approx. every 14 days
