What is your task in the team?

What should you already bring?

• Together with your team, you are responsible for the smooth operation of our Linux servers and our data center infrastructure.
• You will manage, and further develop, virtualization, configuration management, monitoring, and backup.
• Network, firewalls, and the hardware in the data center are also part of your area of responsibility.
• You will drive the modernization and automation of our infrastructure and actively shape its further development, including towards the cloud.
• You will provide the operating platform for our software development and work closely with our developers.
• You will support us with the requirements for our information security certifications.
• Together with your colleagues, you will analyze disruptions and develop sustainable solutions.
• You will take responsibility for technical projects and be the technical point of contact in the team.
• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration, a degree, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a Linux system administrator
• Sound knowledge of Linux, virtualization, networks, and the operation of web and database servers
• Experience with configuration management (e.g., Ansible) and scripting
• Experience with high-availability systems, monitoring, and backup concepts
• Structured, solution-oriented approach and enjoyment of clean documentation
• Ideally, initial experience in the technical guidance of colleagues or interest in developing in this direction
• Clear communication, team spirit, and overview even in demanding situations
• Driving license class B
