Manufacturing Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our location in Thuringia. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing plant performance as well as ensuring smooth production processes. You will independently conduct error analyses and solve problems directly on the production equipment.

Your tasks include evaluating quality key figures, inspection reports, and production data. You will investigate quality deviations and increased scrap rates, initiate appropriate corrective actions, and identify root causes using systematic root cause analysis. Furthermore, you will implement and follow up on measures for process and quality improvement.

Close collaboration with the production, quality assurance, and maintenance departments is essential for the sustainable optimization of manufacturing processes.

For this position, you should have a completed technical degree or a comparable qualification. Initial professional experience in production or process optimization, ideally in an industrial manufacturing environment, is an advantage. You have knowledge of error analysis and process optimization, as well as a strong technical understanding of production equipment and manufacturing processes.

We expect an analytical and solution-oriented approach, strong communication skills, and independent work. Very good German language skills are required; English skills are an advantage. The position is to be performed on-site.
