Mechanical Construction Manager – EPC/EPCM Project

Responsibilities

Must-haves:

• Coordination and supervision of all mechanical construction and assembly activities within the assigned project area.
• Management and coordination of interfaces between contractors, engineering, procurement, commissioning, and other project stakeholders.
• Supervision of contractors regarding occupational safety, quality, adherence to schedule, productivity, and degree of completion.
• Support for construction sequence planning, work sequencing, and short-term schedule planning (Look-ahead Planning).
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, technical standards, quality standards, and EHS requirements.
• Accompanying installation, testing, and mechanical completion up to handover to commissioning.
• Coordination of punch list management and support in the creation and review of handover documentation.
• Continuous monitoring of construction progress, identification of project risks, and initiation of appropriate measures.
• Creation of regular progress reports and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Several years of sound experience in Mechanical Construction Management within large EPC/EPCM projects.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge in HVAC, piping, utilities, equipment installation, and building technology.
• Project experience in the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, life sciences, data centers, or comparable regulated industries.
• Proven experience in managing and supervising mechanical contractors during the construction, completion, and handover phases.
• Sound knowledge of Mechanical Completion, punch list management, and preparation of commissioning activities.
• Confident handling of EHS requirements, quality standards, and technical project specifications.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in stakeholder management.
• Experience in implementing construction projects in Germany.
• Willingness for an on-site presence of four days per week in Frankfurt.
