Responsibilities

• Performing mechanical work during satellite integration and related activities
• Integration of flight hardware and preparation and integration of panels
• Performing mechanical work on wiring
• Application of common manufacturing processes such as gluing, crimping, screwing, thread locking, tightening cable ties, and handling shims
• Assembly and joining of satellite modules
• Working with cranes and MGSE (Manufacturing and Assembly Aids)
• Ensuring cleanliness and order in the cleanroom
• Assisting with or independently preparing integration procedures, depending on experience
• Team collaboration under the direction of an AIT Lead

• Completed apprenticeship in mechanics or aerospace engineering or a comparable qualification
• Experience and sound knowledge in mechanics and mechanical integration, preferably in the aerospace sector
• Familiarity with applicable aerospace standards
• Desirable knowledge in the repair of connectors, structural components, and MLI
• Willingness to work shifts if required
• Willingness to travel for multi-month test and launch campaigns
• Love of order and a high demand for accuracy
• Sense of responsibility and effective working methods
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
