For a long-term major project in the pharmaceutical and biotech sector, we are looking for experienced specialists in the areas of Construction Management and Commissioning.

We are seeking both a Senior Construction Manager and a Commissioning Manager / Lead Commissioning Engineer, who will take responsibility and oversee the successful implementation of a highly complex pharmaceutical plant project until completion.

📍 Location: Bavaria Region

📅 Start: Possible on short notice

⏳ Project Duration: Until mid / end of 2028

The Project

🏗️ New construction of a state-of-the-art production facility in the pharmaceutical and biotech sector

✅ High-potency production areas with the latest isolator and containment technology

✅ Sterile manufacturing and filling processes in a GMP-regulated environment

✅ Complex cleanroom, M&E, HVAC, and utility systems

✅ Extensive building and process infrastructure

✅ Numerous interfaces between engineering, construction, commissioning, qualification, and operation

The project is already underway and is proceeding as planned until 2028. For the upcoming construction, fit-out, and commissioning phases, experienced individuals are sought who can drive topics independently and ensure successful project execution.

Positions Sought

🏗️ Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities

✅ Control and supervision of on-site construction activities

✅ Coordination of specialist construction managers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

✅ Ensuring quality, deadlines, and occupational safety

✅ Monitoring construction progress and active defect and risk management

✅ Coordination of interfaces between construction, M&E, cleanroom, and process trades

Profile

✔️ Experience as a Senior Construction Manager, Construction Manager, or Construction Manager in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sector

✔️ Knowledge of GMP requirements and regulated production environments

✔️ Experience with cleanrooms, M&E, and technical fit-out trades

✔️ Strong site management and coordination skills

⚙️ Commissioning Manager / Lead Commissioning Engineer

✅ Control and coordination of all commissioning activities

✅ Interface management between construction, engineering, qualification, and operation

✅ Ensuring a structured transition from construction to commissioning

✅ Tracking of open points, risks, and dependencies

✅ Support with qualification, documentation, and plant handover

✔️ Experience as a Commissioning Manager or Lead Commissioning Engineer in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector

✔️ Experience in GMP-regulated projects

✔️ Knowledge of commissioning, commissioning planning, and interface management

✔️ Structured and independent way of working
