OpenText VIM Consultant

Project overview

For our client in Berlin, we are looking for an OpenText VIM Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of existing business processes and system configurations in the area of SAP Invoice Management based on OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
• Consulting and implementation of optimization measures as well as functional and technical further developments in the OpenText VIM environment
• Execution of customizing, parameterization, and technical adjustments in OpenText VIM
• Development and adaptation of SAP backend applications with ABAP and ABAP OO
• Implementation and further development of SAP Fiori applications based on SAPUI5 and OData services
• Consulting on the integration of new functions into the existing SAP system architecture
• Analysis and resolution of errors and malfunctions in invoice management processes
• Technical and functional review of audit and inspection findings related to invoice processing
• Conception and implementation of suitable correction and optimization measures, including tests and documentation
• Execution of functional and integration tests in coordination with the relevant specialist departments
• Support in the follow-up and closure of open audit and inspection points
• Documentation of implemented changes and coordination with the involved specialist departments

Requirements

• Several years of consulting and implementation experience in the OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) environment
• Several years of experience in SAP FI consulting, ideally in the SAP S/4HANA environment
• Profound knowledge of SAP FI and SAP Business Workflow
• Very good knowledge of development with ABAP and ABAP OO
• Experience in the implementation of cross-module custom developments in the SAP environment
• Profound knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services
• Experience in analyzing and optimizing existing ABAP programs, considering clean code principles
• Knowledge of SAP system architectures and the integration of SAP applications
• Experience in error analysis and in processing audit and inspection findings in the SAP environment
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Good English skills for collaboration in a German and English speaking project environment
