Responsibilities

• Processing operational procurement for indirect materials, capital goods, and external services
• Accompanying the procurement process from quotation and order placement to invoice verification and processing
• Supporting internal departments with orders, account assignments, goods receipts, and intercompany charges
• Obtaining, checking, and processing supplier quotations and clarifying prices
• Monitoring agreed delivery dates and clarifying deviations with the relevant contacts
• Creating and preparing purchasing-related evaluations and reports
• Maintaining and updating relevant master data in SAP, including material masters, info records, order books, and customs tariff information for Switzerland and the EU
• Supporting ongoing operational purchasing issues and optimizing existing processes
• Participating in projects at the interfaces of purchasing and logistics
• Ongoing coordination with internal departments and external suppliers

Requirements

My advantages:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship
• Further training in purchasing, for example, as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate or a comparable qualification
• Sound professional experience in operational purchasing or a comparable function
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing company is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 and good user knowledge of MS Office
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Strong communication and team-oriented personality
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Good to very good English language skills, both written and spoken
