ORACLE Database Administrator with Ansible

We are currently looking for an ORACLE DBA & Ansible expert (m/f/d) for one of our clients.

YOUR MISSION

At our client's site, optimizations, maintenance work, and troubleshooting are carried out in the area of ORACLE databases.

• Project location: Hamburg
• Period: November 9, 2026, to December 31, 2026
• Work mix: 30 days remote / 4 days on-site
• Important: Remote work only possible within Germany
• Important: Project language is German
• Important: Willingness for SÜ2 according to § 9 SÜG confidential/sabotage protection
• Extension for 2027 possible with 210 person-days (200 days remote / 10 days on-site)

• Administration and optimization of ORACLE databases
• Analysis, identification, and resolution of performance issues
• Performing maintenance work for integrity and availability
• Planning and implementation of backups, recovery procedures, and high availability solutions
• Troubleshooting and automation through scripting (SQL, PowerShell)
• Configuration and administration of Oracle database systems, patch and update planning, and execution of upgrades
• Testing and monitoring of backup & recovery solutions

• Performing data migration
• Documentation of work in Confluence
• More than 3 years of experience in ORACLE database administration
• More than 3 years of experience with ORACLE databases and migration
• More than 3 years of experience with performance analysis, tuning, troubleshooting
• More than 3 years of experience in testing and monitoring of backup & recovery solutions
• More than 3 years of experience with Ansible
• Confident use of Confluence
