• Security environment and specifically in the PKI environment
• Cryptography, X.509 certificates, Certificate Authorities (CAs) and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
• Certificate enrollment protocols (SCEP and EST), as well as certificate validation services (OCSP and CRL)
• Conception of complex PKI environments (especially with manufacturers MTG and Utimaco)
• Implementation of CA solutions including HSMs (especially with manufacturers MTG and Utimaco)
• Creation of Certificate Policy & Certificate Practice Statement
• BSI technical guidelines (TR-02102, TR-03145) are an advantage
• MariaDB Galera Clusters in conception and operation
• Administration and operation of PKI infrastructures
• Renewal of CA certificates during ongoing operation
• English and German, spoken and written

Task:

• PKI Consulting according to defined scope of services (BSI guidelines, key generation/storage (HSM, TPM), cryptography, hardening)
• Independent processing of change requests from initial intake and clarification, through assessment against tender documents, adaptation of design documents (HLD, LLD), to implementation, testing, and documentation
• Independent delivery of training on the project-specific PKI solution
• Independent further development of the project-specific PKI solution according to the tender (updates, upgrades, replacement, etc. of deployed components)
