Project Manager Building Services / HVAC Planner / Laboratory Planning

Responsibilities

• Project leadership and technical consulting in the area of laboratory planning and building services
• Support in the early project and concept phase
• Technical control and coordination of building services trades with a focus on ventilation, heating, and cooling
• Coordination with architects, specialist planners, users, and other project participants
• Technical review and evaluation of planning concepts
• Performing calculations and designs for HVAC systems
• Support in the development of laboratory and building concepts
• Accompanying planning through to further project development

Requirements

Desired Profile

We are looking for a building services all-rounder with strong technical understanding, who brings consulting expertise in the early planning phase, can perform calculations independently, and supports projects from a technical perspective with planners, users, and clients. The focus is clearly on conception, coordination, and technical consulting, not on operational construction or drawing creation.

• Several years of experience as a project manager, specialist planner, or lead engineer in building services
• Sound knowledge in laboratory planning as well as in technically demanding buildings
• Very good knowledge of ventilation, heating, and cooling technology
• Experience in concept planning, preliminary planning, and early project phases
• Confident use of Revit for model review and coordination
• Experience with technical calculations and designs
• Understanding of interfaces between architecture, laboratory planning, and building services
• Experience in research, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or life science projects is an advantage
