Job description
The client is looking for a PMO or sub-project lead to support and represent the project management of an ongoing IT project involving the relocation of technical infrastructures. The role involves preparing and moderating project committees, planning, controlling, risk management, and maintaining project status in the client's reporting tool.

Our client is a service provider in the banking sector and operates the central core banking platform for several hundred institutions. Technical infrastructures from this area are currently being relocated there.
In this context, you will be responsible for representing and supporting the project management of an ongoing project starting in November:
You will prepare and moderate project committees, participate in planning, steering, and controlling, manage risks, and keep the project status up-to-date in the client's reporting tool. The role is coordinating and organizational.
Responsibilities
- Coordination between specialist departments and project members, moderating internal project meetings as needed
- Organization and moderation of project meetings with contractors, quality officers, and test managers, including preparation of documents
- Representation and support of project management
- Participation in project planning, steering, and controlling
- Creation and maintenance of status reports in PMOPlus
- Ensuring compliance with time, cost, and quality objectives
- Support in representing work package managers as needed
- Identification, assessment, and tracking of project risks, development of countermeasures and escalation strategies, and maintenance of risk information in PMOPlus
Requirements
- Experience as PMO or in sub-project management in IT projects
- Practical experience with PMOPlus, especially status reporting and risk management
- Knowledge of the FI Service Portal
- Confident use of MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in project risk management, from assessment to escalation
- Strong moderation and communication skills, experience in moderating project committees
- Experience in projects for the relocation or migration of technical infrastructure is an advantage
- Fluent German language skills
