We – EFK GmbH – are a Hanseatic IT service provider successfully active in the market for around 40 years.

Together with our approximately 50 permanent employees and a well-maintained and extensive pool of freelancers, we successfully support both corporations and SMEs with their IT projects.

For our client, an insurance company, we are looking for a Power BI Expert

Responsibilities

• Participation in the development of a central reporting architecture and a strategy for semantic models
• Conception and development of Power BI reports, dashboards, and analysis applications
• Creation and optimization of semantic models for reporting and analyses
• Integration of reporting solutions with Snowflake data models
• Development of reusable reporting templates and dashboard components
• Creation of operational and portfolio steering views for business users in the "Specialty Business" area
• Design of interactive visualizations and drill-down functionalities
• Translation of business requirements into technical reporting solutions
• Support with the implementation of role-based access concepts and security mechanisms for reports
• Collaboration with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and stakeholders from business departments
• Support with testing, troubleshooting, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Development of pilot reporting solutions for selected control units

Requirements

• Power BI development
• Power BI data modeling for semantic models
• Design of semantic models in Snowflake
• Snowflake
• Conception of enterprise-level reporting and dashboard solutions
• SQL knowledge
• Data visualization and dashboard design
• Data warehousing concepts
• multiple data sources in reporting solutions
