Project overview
For an established client in the automotive industry, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner with Aftersales experience starting November 9, 2026.
Responsibilities
Responsibility as Product Owner for the Restwertmanagement product, including roadmap, backlog, and release management
Recording, consolidating, prioritizing, and managing Europe-wide business requirements in an agile environment
Leading and coordinating the product team as well as managing external development service providers
Ensuring deadlines, quality, budget, and compliance requirements, as well as approving changes and releases
Planning and managing Europe-wide rollouts as well as coordinating with business departments, IT, management, and international stakeholders
Leading cross-functional projects for standardization, digitalization, and optimization of business processes
Responsibility for risk, test, acceptance, and project management, including reporting and documentation
Developing product, process, and technology strategies as well as evaluating new market and technology trends
Conducting demand management, workshops, business analyses, and process optimizations in the European environment
Profile
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
Several years of experience as a Product Owner in agile software development and transformation projects
In-depth knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, or comparable agile methodologies, ideally with certification
Experience in managing complex projects, interdisciplinary teams, and stakeholder management
Good understanding of IT architectures, system landscapes, software development, and process design
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and ideally with Change Management, Design Thinking, or Value Proposition Design
Ideally, knowledge in the automotive sector, particularly in the areas of used cars, residual value management, or remarketing
Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills, as well as a high degree of solution orientation
Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, and enjoyment of working in international teams
