Product Owner E-Mobility

Project overview

For our client, a leading provider in the field of energy management, we are looking for a Product Owner E-Mobility starting from 01.01.2027 to perform the following services in the project:

Background

We are not looking for a pure PO role, but for a personality who combines the tasks of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and technical project manager and acts as a central interface between business departments, stakeholders, and development.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the product backlog and further development of the product roadmap
• Recording, analysis, and prioritization of business requirements
• Further development of the customer portal and digital services in the e-mobility environment
• Management of a development team (currently 2 developers)
• Coordination and alignment with business departments, operations, IT security, and other stakeholders
• Evaluation of customer requirements regarding technical feasibility, effort, and implementation perspective
• Moderation and management of agile development processes according to Scrum
• Ensuring results-oriented implementation with a focus on business value and scalability
• Support for topics related to Azure, SaaS platforms, and interface development
• Identification and implementation of automation and digitalization potentials
• Support in the further development of an AI-First strategy and the integration of AI-supported processes

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Agile Project Manager, or in a comparable role
• Sound experience with Scrum, Jira, and agile software development processes
• Experience in the professional and organizational management of development teams
• Good technical understanding in the area of software development and cloud platforms
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience with digital platforms, SaaS solutions, and interface projects
• Very good German and English language skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience in building and scaling digital business models
• Knowledge in the area of e-mobility, charging infrastructure, or wallbox management
• Understanding of operational and billing processes in the charging environment
• Experience with AI applications, LLMs, and AI-first approaches
• Background in software development or solution design
