Product Manager Special Machine Engineering

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager in the field of special machine engineering. You will support product management in the environment of tunnel boring machines and various tunneling methods such as pipe jacking, HDD, and shaft construction.

Responsibilities

New Development: You will review technical customer requirements from the sales phase, conduct feasibility analyses, and develop technical solution approaches. You will coordinate communication between sales, design, and engineering, define technical requirements for specialist departments, and oversee product adaptations. In doing so, you will coordinate different trades such as mechanics, electrics, and hydraulics.

Support of Existing Equipment: You will gather customer feedback and operational issues, analyze optimization and improvement potential, and manage technical change measures. You will coordinate the implementation of product improvements with the relevant teams and oversee measures until completion.

• Experience in technical product management
• Background in mechanical and plant engineering or special machine engineering
• Knowledge in technical conception
• Understanding of mechanical constructions

• Technical understanding of complex machines
