Project Controller SAP

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Controller for our location in Darmstadt. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, analysis, and monitoring of project expenses and budgets using SAP PS and CO. You will perform cost and investment controlling for material costs, own work, and investments, and create profitability calculations, forecasts, and target-actual and variance analyses.

Your tasks include the commercial structuring and mapping of projects, including billing rules. You will support with accounting issues and determine capitalizable manufacturing costs according to IAS 38. Furthermore, you will create management reports, decision templates, and conduct financial risk analyses. You will advise project management on budget control and profitability and perform project post-calculations.

You have a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you have commercial training with further education in controlling. Several years of professional experience in project, investment, or cost controlling are required. You have sound knowledge in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Very good user knowledge in SAP PS and CO is necessary, ideally supplemented by SAP FI. You are proficient in Excel at a very good level and have experience with management reporting.

Basic knowledge of IFRS/IAS, especially IAS 38, is required. Very good German and English skills complete your profile. The activity takes place on-site in Darmstadt.
