Project Manager CAPEX Projects in Chemical Plant Construction (100% On-site)

Project overview

Overall coordination and control of the ongoing or interrupted assembly phase up to commissioning with regard to schedule, costs, quality, etc. Building, leading, and coordinating an interdisciplinary project team with 10 to 30 employees. Control of all external partners, service providers, and assembly partners within the framework of proactive stakeholder management. Planning of machinery as well as tendering and awarding of electrical engineering.

Commissioning and coordination of process automation as well as control of the trades of construction, process engineering, instrumentation and control technology, and automation technology. Building a project organization on-site. Coordination and monitoring of the realization of infrastructure and operating equipment supply, energy generation plants, as well as the connection of disposal plants and pipelines. Execution of risk management, risk assessment, and measures control. Coordination of interdisciplinary project teams as well as external planning partners.

Control of project progress on the construction site as well as in engineering. Creation of management reporting.

Requirements

10 to 15+ years of experience in managing large industrial projects (interdisciplinary plant planning and plant construction projects).

Demonstrable references in interdisciplinary projects in the chemical process industry.

Experience with CAPEX projects from approx. €10 million investment volume.

Experience in leading project teams of 10 to 30 people.

Experience in communication with partner networks, service providers, customers (stakeholder management).

Experience in reporting up to management/executive level.

Very good German & English skills.
