Project Manager Building Conversion and Client Representation

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced project manager to take over client representation and overarching project management for a comprehensive building conversion project. In this role, you will be the central interface between internal specialist departments, engineering offices, facility management, production, IT, and occupational safety.

Your tasks include identifying and prioritizing requirements from the involved specialist departments, actively managing and consistently tracking the commissioned engineering office, and technically validating technical plans. You will be responsible for coordinating technical interfaces, preparing decisions on the company's side, and monitoring budget, schedule, and project risks. Regular reporting to management and overseeing implementation, acceptance, and handover are also part of your responsibilities.

We expect a completed technical degree or a technician/master craftsman qualification, preferably in electrical engineering, building services engineering, supply engineering, or construction. Several years of experience in technical building management, industrial construction, or conversion of existing and production buildings is required. Sound technical understanding of building infrastructure and technical building equipment, as well as good knowledge of power supply, electrical installation, and building cabling, are necessary.

Experience in the technical management of external engineering offices and knowledge of relevant structural, technical, and safety-related requirements complete the profile.
