The Karl Kubel Foundation is a non-profit, internationally active foundation under civil law based in Bensheim (Hesse). It was founded in 1972 by the entrepreneur Karl Kubel. Supporting children and families has been the foundation's core concern for 50 years. Project Manager

in full or part-time

A total of 120% of a full-time position is available for the advertised role. 100% corresponds to a full-time position with 39 hours per week. The position will be filled by two people; the respective employment volumes can be flexibly agreed upon.

Responsibilities

• Professional collaboration in projects in the areas of family centers, early childhood education, and early support
• Consulting of specialists and process support in family centers, daycare centers, and municipalities
• Conception, organization, and execution of specialist conferences, training courses, workshops, and exchange programs in target-group-oriented, including digital formats
• Networking of institutions and knowledge transfer
• Support of institutions in quality assurance and quality development
• Continuous research on project-relevant topics and preparation of topics for specialist information, newsletters, etc., especially in digital formats
• Conception and creation of practical materials and guidelines
• Participation in steering groups and networks
• Project management and administrative organization of daily office work
• Participation in public relations in projects, especially editing and maintaining the project homepage and Instagram channel, as well as the address database
• Documentation, evaluation, and reporting in projects
• The main focus of the position is currently on contributing to the "State Service Center for Family Centers in Hesse"

Internet:

• Completed university degree in a field relevant to project collaboration and management, preferably in educational sciences, social pedagogy, childhood pedagogy, social work, or psychology
• High competence in process support for institutions and consulting of specialists; ideally, you have a relevant additional qualification
• Comprehensive experience in the conception, organization, and execution of educational programs
• Very good knowledge of project management
• Experience in event management
• Very good communication skills, perfect command of the German language in spoken and written form, and textual proficiency in formulating technical texts
• Confident use of Office applications and video conferencing systems, ideally experience with content management systems (Typo 3) and social media
• Teamwork skills, resilience, flexibility, and initiative
• Willingness to travel domestically
• An employment initially limited to 2 years with the option of extension
