• In an IT project, you coordinate the preparation and execution of overall integration and acceptance tests for larger test teams in the application landscape of a logistics company.
• You create test and capacity planning as well as effort estimations, prioritize test tasks, and remove test obstacles.
• You regularly report to test management on test progress and test statistics and create and moderate subject-related presentations.
• You analyze business concepts, backlogs, IT concepts, and user stories in a project and task management system and derive test designs, test scenarios, and test cases from them.
• You identify and procure or generate suitable test data and advise project stakeholders on test design.
• You check software for functional and non-functional requirements, perform cross-application end-to-end tests, and process the test catalogs of the business units.
• You ensure the quality of test execution, document test results and malfunctions in test reports, and record defects comprehensibly.
• Together with the project and the business contacts, you advise on the correction of applications and use specific test tools independently.
• You have more than 3 years of relevant experience in test preparation and test design as well as functional test execution.
• You possess the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification.
• You have practical experience in collaboration with business units and IT from at least 3 references.
• You have very good knowledge of test methods and their application in agile and classic software development processes, evidenced by at least 3 references.
• You have experience in testing and coordinating cross-application end-to-end test scenarios and business processes from at least 1 reference.
• Good German language skills, written and spoken (min. C1).
• You have experience from large, cross-application IT projects from at least 1 reference.
• You have a very good ability to grasp concepts and a very good understanding of process and business workflows, evidenced by at least 1 reference.
• You have experience in the logistics industry, ideally in freight transport, from at least 1 reference.
• You will take on a versatile task in the quality assurance of a complex application landscape with a direct contribution to the production readiness of the systems.
• You will work in a project environment based on SAFe and independently shape test preparation and test execution.
• You will work closely with test teams, business units, and IT and deepen your expertise in integration and acceptance tests.
• You will work predominantly location-independently; presence appointments for project coordination and special test technology will preferably take place at the project location in Mainz.
• Service provision is 90% remote and 10% onsite.
