What we offer you

• As a Quality and Test Engineer in an IT project, you will support overall integration and acceptance testing within the application landscape of a logistics company.
• You will analyze business concepts, backlogs, IT concepts, features, and user stories in a task management tool and derive test designs, test scenarios, and test cases from them.
• You will be responsible for test catalogs and identify, procure, or generate suitable test data based on business requirements.
• You will advise on test design and ensure the quality of test execution.
• You will test software for functional and non-functional requirements, perform end-to-end tests, and work through the test catalogs specified by the business department.
• You will record and document defects as well as all test results and malfunctions in test reports.
• Together with the project and the business stakeholders, you will advise on the strategy for improving the applications.
• You will use specific test tools independently and organize your tasks autonomously, supported by tools for task management.
• You have more than 3 years of relevant experience in test preparation, test design, and business-oriented test execution.
• You possess the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification.
• You have practical experience working with business departments and IT from at least 3 references.
• You have very good knowledge of test methods and their application in agile and classic software development processes, evidenced by at least 3 references.
• Good German language skills, both written and spoken (min. C1).
• You have experience in large, cross-application IT projects from at least 1 reference.
• You have a very good ability to grasp concepts and a strong understanding of process and business workflows, evidenced by at least 1 reference.
• You have experience in the logistics industry, ideally in freight transport, from at least 1 reference.
• You will work on challenging integration and acceptance tests in a complex application landscape and contribute to the quality of production-ready systems.
• You will operate in a project environment based on SAFe with close collaboration between business departments and IT.
• You will receive creative freedom in test design, test data, and the autonomous organization of your testing tasks.
• You will deepen your technical and methodological expertise through cross-system tests and diverse business processes in freight transport.
• Service delivery is 90% remote and 10% onsite.
