Project overview

For our client in Bern, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Requirements Engineer - Digital Transformation.

In this role, you will support the modernization of an existing business application and accompany the development of a web-based solution. You will work closely with various business units and IT teams, contributing significantly to the optimization and digitalization of existing business processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for requirements engineering as well as the structured collection, analysis, and documentation of business requirements
• Planning, moderation, and execution of workshops with business units and relevant stakeholders to clarify and coordinate requirements
• Translation of business requirements into precise user stories and comprehensible acceptance criteria
• Ensuring efficient communication and coordination between business, IT, and other project participants
• Active support in the conception and further development of a modern web-based platform
• Independent and proactive project support as a competent contact person for the client

Requirements Engineering

• Several years of professional experience as a Business Analyst with sound knowledge of requirements engineering and its best practices
• Demonstrable experience in collecting, structuring, and documenting business requirements, as well as creating user stories and acceptance criteria
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and experience in moderating workshops
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills as well as a strong understanding of business processes and IT solutions
• Independent, structured, and proactive way of working with the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex project environments
• Strong communication and customer-oriented personality with a high degree of personal responsibility
• Advantageous: Experience with portal solutions, web-based applications, or customer-oriented digital platforms
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and residence in Switzerland
