Responsibilities

Profile

• Analysis, review, and maintenance of system requirements for complex ground-based defense systems in the area of truck-mounted and mobile systems
• Ensuring the consistency, completeness, and traceability of requirements across hardware, software, and mechanical subsystems
• Creation, structuring, and maintenance of requirements documentation throughout the entire system lifecycle
• Collaboration with system engineers, technical project leads, verification and validation (V&V) teams, and other specialist areas
• Support in the definition of system architectures and the derivation of technical requirements at the overall system level
• Conducting reviews, impact assessments, and change management for requirements
• Ensuring traceability between customer requirements, system requirements, and verification evidence
• Participation in an international development environment with documentation and communication primarily in English
• Experience as a Requirements Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a comparable role
• Strong understanding of complex overall systems and their interaction across hardware, software, and mechanics
• Experience with requirements management tools such as Jama, IBM DOORS, or Cameo Systems Modeler
• Experience in the defense sector is an advantage
• Knowledge in the area of Verification & Validation (V&V) and Systems Engineering methods
• Structured, documentation-strong, and analytical personality
• German language skills for meetings and team exchange are an advantage, English is mandatory
• Not a pure component or assembly perspective; a candidate with a systems view and broad technical understanding is sought
