The position is part of a project at the Austrian Parliament in Vienna. Support is sought for the recording and identification of IT equipment. This involves locating hardware components on-site, assigning them correctly, and documenting the captured data using software and a handheld scanner. Technical IT know-how is only needed in a basic form; a careful and reliable way of working, a polite demeanor, and the ability to work independently and in a team are more important.

Your Activities

Please note the following requirements

• Finding and assigning hardware components such as PCs, monitors, docking stations, laptops, printers, and other IT accessories
• Distinguishing and documenting individual devices and components based on given characteristics
• Recording inventory and device data using a handheld scanner
• Maintaining and documenting the recorded information in a given application
• Checking inventory data for completeness and plausibility
• Coordinating with project colleagues and contact persons on-site
• Independent processing of assigned areas and work orders
• Ensuring careful and structured data recording
• Friendly and professional demeanor towards employees of the Austrian Parliament
• Adherence to the given processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Support in the transparent documentation of the existing IT inventory
• Participation in a team-oriented project environment with clearly defined workflows
