SAP Consultant FI/Finance with E-Invoicing Expertise

Project overview

For a long-term project at a company in the technical services and infrastructure sector, we are looking for an experienced SAP Consultant (m/f/d) in the area of Financial Accounting and E-Invoicing. The position is primarily remote with occasional on-site assignments.

Your tasks include the support and optimization of digital invoicing and billing processes, the processing of commercial business transactions in the SAP environment, and ensuring the correct processing of electronic incoming and outgoing invoices. You will monitor automated workflows, perform quality checks, and analyze process deviations and interface problems. Furthermore, you will create evaluations and reports on process and data quality and support the further development and automation of existing financial processes.

We expect several years of experience in financial accounting, invoice management, or SAP Finance. Sound knowledge of SAP FI, ideally in the S/4HANA environment, is required. Practical experience with electronic invoicing processes and E-Invoicing, as well as knowledge of common e-invoicing formats such as XRechnung and ZUGFeRD, are necessary. Experience with SAP RE-FX or real estate-related billing processes, as well as knowledge of SAP SD, MM, or SAP DRC, would be advantageous.

You should have an independent, structured way of working, possess strong analytical skills, and have very good German and good English language skills.

The project starts on 01.12.2026 and is planned for one year. The position is advertised as full-time employment.
