SAP Authorization Administration, Focus Identity Access Operations

Project overview

For a medium-sized company in the manufacturing sector, we are looking for a freelance specialist for operational user and authorization administration in an S/4HANA landscape.

The authorization assignments are currently largely maintained manually and consume significant internal capacity. We are looking for support at the implementation level who will take over these tasks independently and contribute to automation in the medium term. The concepts and specifications are available; the focus is explicitly on operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Assignment and modification of authorizations in the S/4HANA landscape
• Administration of new user accounts via Saviynt
• Execution of mass uploads and mass updates
• Contribution to the automation of previously manual assignment processes
• With appropriate prior experience: Taking over daily monitoring in the identity environment

Requirements

Personal Requirements

• Practical experience in user and authorization administration, ideally in the SAP environment
• Basic understanding of SAP authorizations
• Experience in Identity and Access Management; knowledge of Saviynt is explicitly desired, experience with comparable platforms such as SailPoint is also of interest
• Confident handling of Excel, especially in processing large amounts of data
• Routine handling of common office applications
• The role is deliberately tailored to be implementation-oriented. What is decisive is not conceptual depth, but reliable operational work in comparable system environments
• Careful and reliable way of working for recurring tasks
• Willingness to work according to clearly defined specifications
• Accuracy in handling sensitive access rights
