SAP BW/4HANA & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced SAP BW/4HANA & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant to support the further development of an existing SAP-based data warehousing, planning, and reporting landscape in the banking environment. The focus is on technical and functional consulting as well as the implementation of new regulatory, functional, and process requirements in SAP BW/4HANA 2023, SAP HANA 2.0, SAP BPC 2023, and SAP SAC.

Furthermore, the role includes the further development of data models, interfaces, and reporting solutions, as well as the optimization of existing SAP architectures and data flows.

Responsibilities

System-related consulting and support for technical conversions and adjustments

Implementation of new functional and process requirements in SAP BW/4HANA 2023, SAP HANA 2.0, SAP BPC 2023, and SAP SAC

Functional enhancement of the SAP BW/4HANA and SAP BPC landscape

Expansion and optimization of interfaces to BAIS and other target systems

Further development of reporting and dashboard solutions in SAP SAC

Data modeling in SAP BW and SAP HANA

Development and optimization of data loading processes, transformations, and process chains

Support for HANA-optimized and native SAP HANA development

Production support and development of technical utility programs and tools

Must-have Skills

At least 5 years of consulting and implementation experience in SAP BW/4HANA

At least 5 years of consulting and implementation experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Experience in the German banking sector

Extensive knowledge in SAP BW data modeling and SAP HANA data modeling

Experience with source systems and extraction technologies (Flatfile, generic extractors, content extractors, ODP, SDI, SDA, Data Hub, HANA Datasources)

Very good knowledge of DTPs, Delta/Full load procedures, and complex transformation rules

Experience with ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)

Knowledge of HDB Scalar Functions and Table Functions

Experience with ADBC interfaces

Very good knowledge of ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views

Experience with Open Hub Destinations

HANA Studio including BW Modeling Tools, HANA Modeler, and ABAP Development Tools

Native HANA development with Calculation Views, User Defined Functions, and SDA

Hybrid modeling in mixed BW/HANA scenarios

Knowledge of SAP HANA analysis processes

Master Data Management in the SAP BW environment

Data Tiering Optimization (DTO)

ABAP OpenSQL, ABAP CDS, HANA SQL, and HANA SQL Script

Very good ABAP programming skills including ABAP Objects

Experience with Customer Exits, Reports, and object-oriented development

Development and optimization of SAP BW process chains

Extensive experience in reporting and dashboarding with SAP SAC based on SAP BW

Authorization management in SAP SAC

Connection via SAP Cloud Connector

SAP SAC Story Design

Integration of on-premise SAP systems

BTP know-how in connection with SAP SAC

Nice-to-have Skills

Knowledge of Automic for controlling and automating processes

Experience with UI5

Knowledge of JavaScript

Knowledge of Python

Knowledge of XML

Experience in native SAP HANA application development

Experience in expanding complex reporting and planning landscapes with SAP BPC
