We are looking for an SAP Data Archiving / SAP ILM Consultant!

Responsibilities

• Consulting on the development and implementation of SAP archiving and ILM strategies
• Analysis of SAP system landscapes regarding data volumes, retention periods, and compliance requirements
• Implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP ILM and Data Archiving solutions
• Definition and implementation of archiving objects, retention policies, and deletion concepts
• Support with S/4HANA transformations, carve-outs, and system decommissioning
• Creation of archiving and data protection concepts, considering regulatory requirements
• Collaboration with business departments, data protection, compliance, and IT teams
• Execution and monitoring of archiving runs, including error analysis and resolution
• Creation of technical and functional documentation
• Support with tests, go-lives, and conducting training and knowledge transfer

Requirements

Framework conditions:

• Several years of experience in the SAP archiving environment
• Sound knowledge of SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and SAP Data Archiving
• Experience with archiving objects and SAP archiving tools
• Good knowledge of relevant SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, HCM, or PM
• Practical experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA landscapes
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, especially GDPR
• Experience in data cleansing, archiving, or decommissioning projects
• Analytical approach and confident communication with business and IT departments
